Sheltering our kids keeps them from developing the self-confidence they will need in the real world. When we do something hard for our children, we are inadvertently sending the message "you don't have what it takes."

Look for opportunities to stretch your kids and get them out of their comfort zone. Are they going to want to do it? No, probably not. But, our goal as parents is to raise adults who are ready for the challenges ahead.
